Charlotte Lagro
In my work I thematize the human body, the choreography of daily acts and my fascination for cultural and material heritage, such as fossils, relics and ceramics. I locate and dismantle seemingly fixed narratives. Through a range of disciplines – photography, video, performance – I cut them up and glue them back together again in a process that involves repetition, precision and concentration. One can describe both the making proces and viewers’ experience of the end-result as meditative.
